SWIMMING PROGRAM POSITIONS SUMMER 2010 

Bridgewater State College is currently seeking lifeguards and swim instructors for the summer community program.  Application deadline is May 1st 2010.  Applicants must be available for the entire program--no vacations allowed.

Jobs will begin June 22nd - 24th with training.  The summer program runs June 28th through August 6th.  APPLICATIONS by email (resume and references see below) DUE May 1st!!!

Lifeguard:     Pay $9.00-$11.00 per hour DOE

Maintains a safe swim environment for pool users and staff through enforcement of health and safety rules during scheduled swims.  Attends required meetings and training, performs cleaning tasks as assigned. 

Requirements: 

* Current ARC Lifeguard Training Certificate

* Current ARC First-Aid, CPR, and AED Certificate

* Lifeguarding experience preferred.

* CORI/SORI BACKGROUND CHECK

Swim Instructor: Pay $9.00-$11.00 per hour DOE

Teaches swim lessons, monitors locker rooms as needed, lifeguards if certified (see above). 

Requirements:

* Excellent swimming skills.

* Ability to work with and teach small children.

* Lifeguard Training Certificates preferred.

* ARC Water Safety Instructor preferred.

* CORI/SORI BACKGROUND CHECK

Locker Room Attendant:  Pay $8.50 per hour

Locker room supervision during swim lessons, assists with staff needs and traffic on pool deck, performs cleaning duties in locker rooms as assigned.
